Garden Living designs, engineers, and markets innovative outdoor living products for the rapidly expanding North American marketplace. We are dedicated to product design excellence in aesthetic appeal, fabricated quality, and ecological responsibility.

The BDM will be part of a small team in a fast moving environment, with great potential for personal development and advancement as the company grows quickly.

Qualifications:

The BDM will be a highly creative, can-do individual with a great team attitude, excellent people skills, and a desire to grow with a fast moving company. This individual will possess a strong marketing mind, great presentation skills, and an extensive working knowledge of the landscape design, outdoor lifestyle and furniture industries. The BDM will require strong organizational and project management skills, the personal drive to seek out and build new client relationships, and a refined understanding and appreciation  for contemporary design.

Responsibilities:

The key responsibility of the BDM will be to rapidly build the GL project client base, from initial client contact through to the closing of the sale. The BDM will leverage all available selling tools, from direct contact through digital media, to reach, engage, and manage an expanded client base.

As part of the project team, the BDM will remain the primary point of contact on major projects, and will contribute to project and product design, costing, and management.

In this small firm environment, the BDM will be part of a marketing team dynamic, and will have input into the production of all company and product branding, as well as all marketing strategic planning and decisions.

The BDM will require the following skills:

  • Broad-based landscape design, outdoor lifestyle and furnishings expertise
  • Excellent sales skills and project management abilities
  • Ability to efficiently produce sales and marketing materials for presentation and communication
  • Working functionality with Adobe Suite software, CAD, Sktechup
