Job Description:

Lower Shannon Farms is a grain, cattle, poultry, market garden and greenhouse operation located north east of Lloydminster. Year round we stock natural beef, free range chickens, turkeys, eggs, pork and lamb.

Our greenhouse produces tomatoes, lettuce, baby greens and cucumbers year round. There is also a large seasonal outdoor garden. 

Lower Shannon Farms is looking for a Greenhouse Technician / Supervisor. 

• A degree or diploma from a recognized Horticultural school is required
• Greenhouse experience necessary
• Plant knowledge and experience are required
• Must be flexible with hours, and able to work weekdays and/or weekends

Position requires an individual physically able to fulfill job duties and who works well in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Work will be done at heights, and the environment can be hot and humid.

The successful applicant must have their own transportation, as the workplace is in a rural setting. It is important to note that our greenhouse is a natural growing environment.
