Positions are local and do not involve overnight or out of town assignments.
JOB DUTIES:
Outdoor positions assisting the arborist: keeping job site clean, chipping branches/limbs, and using hand and chain saw to provide tree surgery services. Responsible for pruning, planting and removing trees or shrubs on residential and commercial properties. Positions include lifting, bending and general dexterity. Occasionally requires handling chemicals--fertilizers, fungicides, pesticides.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma. Must have experience with using pruners, shears, chainsaws, or other arborist equipment. Experience landscaping or with tree care company highly valuable. Knowledge of and experience with equipment maintenance, customer service, safe working procedures are all a must.
Salary: $16.00/HourlyJob Type: Full-Time, PermanentCompensation based on qualifications and experience--with overtime.
