Grower / Production Assistant (Horticulture)

Taylor’s Nursery, Inc. located in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced grower to assist in the operation of both container and field production.  The Grower will be responsible but not limited to managing plant cultural requirements; irrigation, pruning, fertility, and IPM programs.

Job Requirements:

‐ Horticultural Degree plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience in wholesale production

‐ Field and/or greenhouse production experience   

‐ Strong organizational and planning skills  

‐ An active self‐starter, highly motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced environment

‐ Excellent verbal and communication skills

‐ Ability to speak Spanish a plus, but not required

‐ Ability to work longer hours during peak season, with some weekends required

‐ Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
