Job Details:

We currently have an opening for an intermediate landscape architect.  We are looking for a talented individual who is interested in advancement to a senior position within the firm.

Responsibilities within this full-time position will include:

• Design and management of projects from preliminary design through contract administration, under the guidance of senior / principal LA;
• Preparation of design, construction and tender documents;
• Co-ordination with project stake-holders, consultants and clients; and
• Site inspection and contract administration during construction including appropriate documentation.

Qualifications required to accomplish these responsibilities will include:

• High proficiency in AutoCad, Microsoft Office and computer file management;
• Demonstrated technical skills including familiarity and experience in preparing technical working drawings (grading and layout plans, planting plans, construction details);
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are essential;
• Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop rendering techniques as well as Sketch-Up will be considered an asset;
• A degree in landscape architecture;
• A minimum of three years’ experience in Landscape Architecture;
• Be a member of the OALA or be eligible to be a member of the OALA.
