We are looking for a Junior Landscape Designer who is interested in working in the natural playground industry. At Bienenstock we specialize in designing and building natural playground installation for various clients both public and private.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Be able to use AutoCAD at an advanced level
• Have four years worth of experience using AutoCAD
• Basic Microsoft Office Skills
• A solid background in landscape architecture
• Demonstrated knowledge of landscape grading and drainage

Preference will be given to candidates with any of the following qualities and qualifications:

• Demonstrates superb organization ability and meticulous attention to detail
• One year’s worth of experience in landscape architecture
• Demonstrated knowledge of different plant species
• Sketchup experience an asset but not required
• Certificate in AutoCAD

Daily Tasks

• Creating AutoCAD documents for natural playground components
• Adding technical details to existing AutoCAD documents
• Cut and fill calculations
• transcribing hand-drawn sketches into AutoCAD
• participating in the creative process
• entering quantities into costing spreadsheets
