Coplon Associates, a progressive, award winning landscape architecture firm located in Bar Harbor, Maine, is seeking a creative, self-motivated landscape architect /designer with three to five years of experience to serve in a design and project management capacity. CA is an established practice with extensive experience in projects ranging from large-scale land planning to detailed garden design. Our portfolio, as illustrated on www.coplonassociates.com, includes planning and site design for public agencies (local, state, and federal), educational and research institutions, the conservation community, commercial and residential clients.

Required Skills:

We are seeking a self-motivated individual to work primarily on landscape scale recreation projects for a dedicated client. The work will involve design, construction administration and property management for sites located in northern and eastern Maine. Candidates must have strong graphic and verbal communication skills and demonstrated fluency in digital design tools (AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, GIS, etc.) and experience in project implementation and management. Familiarity with native plants of the Northeast is preferred. Applicants should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from an accredited program; have a love of the outdoors and an interest in four season muscle-powered recreation.
