Sancor Irrigation & Landscaping Inc. is a leading premium landscape contractor serving all the residential and commercial landscaping needs of the Fraser Valley and Greater Vancouver area. Our business address is: 5152 Dhaliwal Place, Chilliwack, BC V2R 0J4.

We are currently looking for an experienced Landscaping Manager to join our dynamic team in the full-time project based position in the Lower Mainland area.

Job Duties:

• Project management: plan, organize, direct and control landscaping operations;
• Estimating: plan and estimate the materials and labour requirements;
• Reading and scaling of drawings;
• Organize and direct the planting and maintenance of trees, gardens,  lawns, shrubs and the construction and installation of fences, walkways etc;
• Supervise staff, lead and manage a labour crew in a safe and professional environment;
• Heavy duty equipment operation and maintenance;
• Maintain financial and personnel records.

Specific Job  Requirements:

• Diploma/certificate in landscaping or heavy equipment operation
• Minimum 4 years of proven direct experience in landscaping (e.g. as a landscape technician) and heavy equipment operation and
• Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory position in landscaping industry (e.g. landscaping supervisor /foreman or landscaping manager)
• Ability to read landscape  drawings and do calculations
• Good communication skills in English
• Must be mobile physically

Compensation

Full-time employment : $21.50/hour - 40 hours per week
