Located in Osborne Park, Tim Davies Landscaping is a well established multi award winning leader in the Landscaping Industry. As and integral part of the design team you will be able to contribute to the design and delivery of significant new designs, and design and construct opportunities. Fulfilling a senior level within the team, you will be integral to shaping and growing of our future.

The successful applicant will be required to have a thorough understanding of commercial projects from client brief, design and documentation through to tender. Skills in concept development and communication are important, as is the ability to participate in a motivated design team.

Due to this being a pivotal role in the Design Team, we are looking for a particular type of person. The person that we are looking for will be:

  • A suitably qualified Landscape Architect
  • Able to demonstrate 5-10 years post graduate experience preferably within the private sector
  • Proven experience working on large commercial projects
  • Able to show a portfolio demonstrating detail design and documentation skills and experience, along with advanced skills in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite and Project Management
  • Able to demonstrate a vast knowledge of Western Australia Horticulture
  • A professional who is able to motivate and work with other team members with in all levels of the organisation
  • A Self Starter with the ability to take ownership of the role and deliver organisational/client objectives.

The key responsibilities of this position are:

  • Strive for continual improvement in design excellence
  • Lead and motivate a small design team to deliver innovative design solutions
  • Develop a solid network of business and industry contacts 
  • Follow projects through from concept to competition and ensure that all projects are completed on time and to the TDL required standard
  • Maintain and develop graphic/drafting standards to TDL standards
  • Manage and report on department project portfolio
  • Effectively manage resources to achieve monthly design targets
  • Show an ongoing commitment to personal growth and professional improvement
  • Support and mentor others in their pursuit of ongoing development
