Rivershore Estates and Golf Links, located in Kamloops, B.C., is currently accepting applications for the position of turfgrass intern for the 2017 golf season.

The turfgrass intern a Rivershore Golf Links will have extensive involvement in the execution and scheduling of regular daily maintenance operations, cultural practices, fertilizer and pesticide applications, irrigation maintenance and operation, property monitoring and record keeping.

The successful applicant can expect to work closely with both the golf course superintendent and assistant superintendent in a positive mentoring environment, to be given opportunity to develop career skills and to receive full department support as it relates to any school directed learning outcomes.

Qualifications and preferred experience:
· Currently enrolled in a recognized turfgrass management program with a minimum of one school term remaining before completion
· Valid BC Pesticide Applicator’s License, or ability to obtain prior to start date
· Valid Driver’s License
· Minimum 2 years previous golf course maintenance experience
